Supporting those who save lives

Stephen played the role of the magician from the movie, giving out lucky draw prizes to donors who had contributed free movie tickets for the event. He made the lucky draw engaging and fun, and those present, including Red Cross staff and other volunteers, commented that it was a perfect role for him. Russ helped to assist by passing goodie bags to lucky recipients before the movie started.

Earlier in the month, Russ and John Cheng also participated in MovePlan Singapore’s first Red Cross event, named ‘Project Rice’.

They both spent a Saturday packing meals to be delivered to families in communities where food is needed. John and Russ were very productive and helped to package over 500 meal packs!

The Singapore team is looking forward to sending more participants to help in the next Project Rice.
