The evolving workplace was the topic of a roundtable event held by MovePlan’s Canadian Project Director, Michelle Brown. Those in attendance heard from our guest speaker, Brian Aman, a Senior Partner with Rogers Communications. He shared how we have an opportunity to evolve the workplace post-pandemic, including how and where work is done.

It has been three years since the start of the pandemic and in the intervening time, we have all experienced a structural shift in our behaviours and attitudes towards working practices.

MovePlan has recently opened an office to support our clients in Seattle. We were keen to host a networking roundtable event to learn more about the local market and make meaningful connections.

Representatives from various industries took part in MovePlan’s APAC roundtable event titled The Workplace Beyond Hybrid. The diverse group discussed how to prepare strategies for success beyond the current day, resulting in an insightful and productive session. Topics included where we are today, what’s beyond hybrid and how to drive change.

The future of the office and how we refine our framework for this were some of the questions discussed at MovePlan’s roundtable conference in the UK and Ireland. Participants enjoyed an insightful and honest discussion around the future of the office, with attendees sharing their own experiences from different industries.

We are delighted to announce that MovePlan is opening a new hub in Seattle.

The future of the workplace was explored at the latest WORKTECH22 event held in Singapore this month, where MovePlan’s Stephen Fountain spoke about diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Stephen, Senior Project Director at MovePlan, was one of more than 20 speakers at the event which provided a forum for all those involved in the future of work and the workplace as well as real estate, technology and innovation.

As move and change specialists, throughout the pandemic we worked closely with our clients to support them in understanding and implementing the new ways of working during a time of major workplace upheaval. However, as we now emerge and the “new normal” becomes the “norm”, what have we learnt along the way and what lessons can we take forward with us?
