MovePlan becomes part of the team, complementing the work of workplace strategists, architects, designers, external project managers and in house teams.
Workplace strategists will review your current operation and establish the best way for it to operate in the future. They may put in place a change plan and initiate change management activity. Our change delivery team joins them as the project progresses and helps support all of their messages and models through wide-reaching communications and engagement. We get out into every department and conduct the resource-intensive aspects of the programme as we approach the move/workplace transition.
As early as possible – the cost impact of early introduction to key meetings is minimal, but the benefit to the project is huge. Not only can we help designers with filing volumes and specialist equipment logistics, but we will get a full understanding of the concerns of the stakeholders and the culture of your business. You will then know what to expect in order to communicate and reassure.
We do not offer physical move services, preferring to independently tender for the services on your behalf when the scope is fully defined. In specific circumstances we can offer a ‘one stop shop’ solution, but this is not our typical model. MovePlan has excellent relationships with move companies in all of the locations in which we operate, but does not operate on a preferred supplier basis. We pride ourselves upon identifying the best value move company for your specific project.

Projects are assessed on a content and time-related basis. Fees are agreed in advance of commencement according to a scope of work and paid by agreed installments. There are no hidden extras or handling percentages.
Whilst every project is different, the same basic information helps us to structure our fee. We would look to understand the following:
- The timeline of the project
- The total number of staff involved in the project
- Any indication of project phasing (we can help work this out with you)
- The number and location of sites
- Any specialist areas that will need special consideration
The best way of assessing this is to speak to one of our past clients. We can put you in touch. Generally they say ‘couldn’t have done it without you’ and often they don’t think this at the outset, however 70%+ of our business is on a repeat or referral basis. Projects involving change and relocation are demanding of time and stamina. Our methodology and experienced managers take the strain allowing the in house team to stay focussed on high level decisions and business as usual.
